VISION
As the premiere performing arts institution in the Northwest suburbs of Chicago, our goal is to cultivate an individual’s unique performance artistry by empowering and nurturing the emerging artist in everyone in a safe learning environment in which students can explore the various disciplines. We aim to facilitate a student’s understanding of the world around them and assist in the articulation of that view through the creative process. We strive to embolden every student to discover their unlimited potential to observe, question, learn and ultimately motivate personal and social change through the performing arts.
MISSION
To provide students of all ages the opportunity to explore and appreciate the performing arts through the practice of technique, discovery and articulation of a personal artistic aesthetic, development of original work and the experience of collaborative performance.
The Metropolis School of the Performing Arts is located in the Metropolis Performing Arts Centre at 111 W. Campbell St., Downtown Arlington Heights, Il 60005
